I am hoping to hear back from the university this week regarding my future on the course. All indications, I am led to believe, are looking good.
I will NOT be graduating this November but hope to NEXT year. The reason for this is that once I accept the piece of paper, my course will be considered over. I consider my work coming along nicely, it’s starting to look very promising but there are some kinks I need to iron out.
Onto the next subject: When was the last time Sheffield United played like THAT? Eight goals in total, four allowed, four disallowed. Port Vale, who hover just outside the playoff zone, looked like a total Sunday league team. They had very few chances and their defence was absolutely sloppy. Possibly the only positive thing about Robbie Williams’ favourite team have ex-Blades Bruno Ribero as manager and hero of the famous Triple Assault season Michael Brown as player-coach. Here’s hoping they get things straight in order to continue being promotion contenders.
Elsewhere in the league, in-form Bradford, who we face away next Saturday, lost to Oxford. Current toppers Scunthorpe came from behind to beat MK “Dons” and will probably beat 22nd placed Oldham on Tuesday. Bolton cruised past the Latics today and don’t have a tough challenge either in midweek when Milwall host them at the New Den. Likewise, the Blades also have what looks to be victory wrapped up when we travel to Shrewsbury, the Shrews ranking 23rd just above the fallen giant Coventry.
